September Update

Posted by theenchantedquilt on Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Got back from the Ft. Worth quilt show.  Saw lots of beautiful quilts, and met a lot of wonderful people.  I had to pack up and leave a little early, because my husband had been to the emergency room three times from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon.  He was supposed to come help me load, but both of my son-in-laws had to help me instead.  He got up Saturday morning with a very bad nose bleed and it wouldn't stop.  They had to pack both sides of his nose, and keep it in until Thursday of this week.  He was miserable; I really felt sorry for him.  They still are not sure what caused it, but they do know why it wouldn't stop.  He had been taking a daily asprin, upon recommendation of our family doctor; and it thinned his blood so it wouldn't clot.  Needless to say, he won't be taking asprin on a daily basis anymore.  It was a very hectic week; hopefully this week will slow down a little.

We have completed some new samples.  Little jelly bags, the November tablerunner with a cute pieced turkey, and a bell pull with scripture from Joshua.  Go to the web site and check out the store samples under the gallery to see pictures of them.

We got in Moda's Birdie line designed by Me and My Sisters Designs-jelly rolls, charm packs, honey buns, and 6 coordinated bolts of fabric.  This line will not last long.  Me and My Sisters always has the cutest stuff.  New Christmas patterns, and some more Benartex Christmas fabrics.

I can't believe it is almost October.  Blink and it will be Christmas, so better hurry on those Christmas projects.  Most of our November classes will be Christmas related so stay tuned..

Till later---
