Happy Thanksgiving
Shop Small Business Saturday
Lost and Found
Charming Quilter's Club
Today's Tidbits

Lisa, Michell and I want to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I pray for safe travels if you are traveling, and I pray for great fellowship for you, your families, and your friends.

We will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.  We won't interfere with your Black Friday Shopping, however we would like to invite you to our Shop Small Business Day event on Saturday.  All of our in stock books will be on sale at 25% off as well as all regular priced fabric will be 25% off (minimum 1/2 yard cut-some exclusions may apply), the rest of our Christmas/Winter fabric will be 35% off.  Take $1.00 MORE off of our sale patterns.  This sale also is good for online shopping.  We will adjust the prices when the order is processed.  Also, if you come in and complete a Christmas Wish List, you will receive one of the Reindeer pins we were giving away during the Reindeer Dash Shop Hop (while supplies last).

LOST AND FOUND

We found a pretty watch in the front of the shop.  We think someone that came in for the Reindeer Dash dropped it.  If you or anyone you know lost a watch, please call the shop and describe it--940-689-0990; and we'll get it to you.

We have a really fun event starting Jan. 1, 2015.  It is called our Charming Quilters Club.  What is that?  Each month when you make a single purchase of $40, you will receive a free quilt charm.  We already have the first two charms in stock.  These will be so fun to collect.  Wear them on a bracelet or charm pin.   Everyone can participate.  Our internet buyers are welcome to participate in this as well.  We will keep track of your charms for you.

Today's Tidbits

Most of us have cell phones.  I'm not one to carry it on me everywhere I go.  I usually stays in my purse and I pull it out when needed, but I read some interesting things about how to avoid draining your cell phone battery.  I thought I would share these.

1.  Turn off you phone when sleeping or after business hours.
2.  Turn off bluetooth and wi-fi.
3.  Switch off the vibrate function
4.  Reduce the screen brightness
5.  Close applications that you are not using.
6.  Avoid games, pictures and internet.
7.  Avoid free applications.  They have lots of advertising banners.
8.  Don't leave your phone in the sum.
9.  Avoid animated backgrounds.
10.  Turn off GPS
11.  Turn off notifications and syncing.  The constant updating and displaying of messages consumes a good deal of energy.
12.  Update your apps regularly.  The most current app will use less energy.
13.  Check the size of your apps.  Uninstall the ones that are too big for your phone's memory and your battery.
14.  Purchase an external battery.

Did you know most of these?

Till next time.  Happy Stitching....
