When is the Cold Front Coming
I'm hearing that a cool front is moving in next week. It will be in the high 90"s. Believe it or not, I'm thinking it really will feel cooler compared to the 110 degree weather we have been having. It should be just in time for the Oklahoma City Summer Quilt Show--"From Heart and Hands" hosted by Central Oklahoma Quilters Guild, Inc., June 24 & 25th. Friday from 9-8 and Saturday 9-5. It is usually held at the Cox Pavilion, but has been moved to the Transportation Building due to air conditioning problems. Hope to see your there.

We will be celebrating Christmas in August this year. July just didn't work. Most of our Christmas fabrics are here and our samples are 95% complete. We have a book full of neat projects for use with this year's fabric. We have several patterns here at the shop that we just love. We have done this quilt in black & white, red & white, browns, and blues. The pattern includes baby thru king size directions. Everyone loves this pattern. Check out our new blue one.

It was gorgeous!!
We will be getting in more jelly rolls over the next few months for a jelly roll race--we will be discussing this more in the near future.
Tip to help Your Long Arm Quilter
Make sure to use 100% cotton for your quilt back of your 100% cotton quilt top. Remove all selvages from your seams to prevent puckering. Make your backing and batting at least 6" larger than your top on all sides.
