We just got in a new pattern for an ipad cover called I-Cozy Palooza as well as one to cover your e-reader called E-Cozy Palooza. Both of these are designed by Whistlepig Creek Productions. Both of these have several style choices. Here is one that I made for my ipad.

We got in the new cuddle strips from Shannon Fabrics, These are precut strips in tiffany/violet with peace signs. This is a quilt as you go method, and includes the pattern. It makes a 60" x 72" quilt and requires 2 1/2 yards for the backing.
CLASSES
We have several events and classes set up. Check these out on the calendar page.
Quick Point Rulers
I've been showing these rulers at the shows all year long, and the response to them has been wonderful, so I thought I would hold demos for all the local ladies to see. August 19 & August 27th., we will be having demos throughout the day. Just stop in to see how these wonderful rulers make prairie points and rick rack fast and perfect.
September 10th., Connie from Horsefeathers will be here to teach coloring techniques on fabric. Many of you have seen her patterns here at the store, now you can get tips and instruction on how to make transform these patterns into coloring masterpieces. The cost is $20 and space is limited. Deadline for sign up is $20, and all you need to bring is a 48 ct. box of Crayola brand crayons. We will have the pattern traced onto fabric for you.
September 24th. will be a class/contest in making a quilt top from a jelly roll. I know of a lady that won the contest by completing her top in 35 mnutes! Stop in a choose a jelly roll and receive some instruction for preparation of the class. The winner receives her jelly roll FREE (maximum of $39 value). We have jelly rolls, and strips packages in the shop with more on the way.
HELPFUL TIPS:
I mentioned the last time about a quilt related app for the i-pad and had received emails from several ladies passing on several others.
http://www.fineneedle.com/2010/07/favorite-apps-quilting/ There are info on two apps at this site---thank you Judy!
Patty emailed me about an app that is a quilt shop finder app--Quilt Shops. Thanks Patty.
Household Tip: I haven't tried this, but it sounds interesting--let me know if this works: Use your used dryer sheets to wipe soap scum off your shower doors. I don't have time to clean; how about the rest of you?? Too busy quilting?
