QFL Football League Season Ends

We had our Super Bowl luncheon. The fellowship was great and the food was good. I had some activities planned, but realized it would have been difficult to do with so few people. I had considered postponing it until more could attend, but with the Quilt Across Texas Shop Hop taking up the entire month of September, I knew I couldn't work it in.

I also wanted to announce the winner of the 100 batik fat quarters is Nova Dickerson. She participated in every thing that the QFL headquarters had on their website. She even made the recipe with peanuts in it, although she is allergic to peanuts! She got many of her points from visiting other participating QFL shops during her travels over the summer. She is currently on an Alaskan cruise with her mother, or just returned from it. Congratulations Nova!

It was great getting to know each of you a little bit better over the last few months, and I certainly value all of your friendships. Now I guess it is time to start looking ahead to the holidays. Although as hot as it has been, it is difficult to think about Christmas. If you are making a lot of your gifts, time is already running out; so let's get sewing......
