Can you believe that September is almost here? It is almost time for the 2nd. Quilt Across Texas. The fabric is in, we have a quilt designed and completed. We know you will just love this fabric. You can stop in and see the fabrics and preorder yours, we already have some that have theirs reserved. We will not be reordering any of the prints, like we did last year. When it is gone, it is gone. We also have tote bags and passports available. If you didn't participate last year, you certainly won't want to miss it this year.

I've been waiting on this book since I got back from Spring Market. It has a gorgeous Christmas wallhanging and the cover quilt is gorgeous. These patterns use either the 10" Twister Tool or the 5" "Lil Twister Tool.

One last item is the book Pot Holders, Pinchers & More. We had the book in for a short while, sold out, and then couldn't get it again because it was backordered by all of our distributors. It finally came in. It has the cutest pot holders. 20 different designs for only $9.95.

EGGS
I recently read that you could hard boil eggs in the oven. I was really sceptical about it, so I thought I just have to try it. I did, and they turned out great. I can't tell you how many times I've put eggs on the stove and forgetten them. Does it sound familiar? Now all I have to do is place an egg in each cup of a muffin/cupcake tin, bake for 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. I did it for 30 minutes, but I'm going to back off and only do 25 minutes next time.
Till next time,
Happy Stitching
