Go to the QAT website http://www.quiltacrosstexas.com/ to get all the info. If you have a smart phone or an I-pad you can download a QAT app that contains all the shop info.
We have the passports and maps for sale here at The Enchanted Quilt.
For the month of September ONLY our hours will be Monday-Saturday 9-6.
NEW STUFF
We have gotten in quite a lot of new items lately. Too many to actually put in this newsletter. Gadgets, fabrics, patterns and more. We can tell that folks are getting geared up for Christmas.
Swatch Buddies in 24 Ct. or 12 Ct. packages plus the refill packages are here. Never purchase the wrong fabric again. Attach a scrap of fabric from your project, and write on the back, the quilt and location your purchased the fabric. No more losing fabric swatches in the bottom of your purse. What a great idea--why didn't I think of that?
Sharpening Stone from Gingher to sharpen any scissors or shears which have been ground with a knife edge.
For those of you that use thimbles, we got in a new batch of the Poke-A-Dots. 18 reusable dots that stick to your finger and store in a handy tin.
We also got in the Clover adjustable open thimbles. They come in small and medium. These are especially good for ladies that have long nails.
TrueCut TrueGrips come in packages of 15 that are non-slip adhesive rings that can be applied to the back of any ruler.
We have a new What Cancer Cannot Do kit available that is good for men. We tend to gravitate to the more feminine fabrics, but decided we needed to do one that men would like. Unfortunately cancer doesn't discriminate, and men need some encouragement as well as women. Here is our green, brown and black version. This pic doesn't do it justice. The larger print block is fall leaves. It has been selling very well.
Did you Know......
Before you go on vacation, water your plants well, then place them in clear plastic bags-pots and all. Close the top tightly with twine or a ribbon. If necessary, place a stick in the soil to keep the plastic from touching the plants. For large plants, use transparent garbage bags. The bags hold in the moisture so plants stay healthy on their own for up to 10 days.
Till next time...
Happy Stitching.
